Sagittarius Venus Weaknesses

Their unsympathetic bluntness. As a truth-seeking fire sign, honesty and integrity are extremely important to the Sagittarius Venus. At times, though, their devotion to honest appraisal code may come across as overly aggressive and blunt. When unchecked, their bluntness can cause chaos and conflict in relationships. In order to move forward, Sag Venus must learn how to speak their truth with respect and decency.

Their emotional unavailability. Although they mean well, sometimes Sagittarius Venus behaves in a way that is emotionally unavailable and withdrawn. Instead of being aggressive or fighting with their words, they repress their feelings and emotions and hold them in. If unaddressed, their emotional unavailability can lead time to cause abandonment fears and feelings of emotional neglect in partners.

Their reckless spending habits. Financially, Sagittarius Venus placements can attract large amounts of money and wealth. But because of their carefree and overly optimistic nature, they often have impulsive spending habits. Instead of saving their money and investing in appreciating assets, they have high hopes and dreams that things will turn out fine, no matter their expenditures. In order to maximize their lucky qualities, they have to learn to develop patience and planning with finances.

Their fear of commitment. Companionship and intimacy are very important to the Venus in Sagittarius person, but that doesn’t mean they are willing to sacrifice their personal freedom by settling down. In fact, their fear of commitment and codependency is one of their biggest setbacks. To overcome this, they must find the right person and career path that embraces their fundamental need for adventure and spontaneity.

Sagittarius Venus in Love

When it comes to love, the Sagittarius Venus is warm, open-minded, and exciting. These thrill-seeking lovers tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves. Bold and outgoing, they hold nothing back. When actively looking for love, the Sagittarius Venus goes all in.

The trouble for Sagittarian Venus comes when the honeymoon phase is over. As mutable fire signs, it’s hard for Sagittarius to keep the thrill of the first date going. Although they are open to the concept of monogamy and long-term commitment, they struggle with the routineness that relationships bring.

These high-energy lovers need frequent change and excitement or they tend to get bored fast. That is unless they have abundant earth or water placements in their chart to balance their flighty independent side out.
